NYAA Bronze and Silver

This post is for all Sec 2 and 3 students doing NYAA.

Please be reminded to do your exercise (physical recreation component) over the holidays.
For Bronze, you need at least 20 hours spread over a period of 8 weeks.
For Silver, you need at least 30 hours spread over a period of 10 weeks.

Please take note that
1) you can only write ONE physical recreation.
For example, you went swimming (4 hours), jogging (5 hours), playing basketball (6 hours) and playing badminton (7 hours) during the holidays. The total time spend on these activities is 22 hours.
However, you can only write ONE of them, which means that you did not complete the NYAA criteria.
So let's say you want to write about swimming, you have to do 20 hours of swimming over the holidays or thereafter.

2) you have to write your reflections for the activity/exercise.
For example, if you are writing about basketball, you can write about the target that you want to achieve (shooting into the basket 50% of the time from 3-point line), what you plan to do to achieve your target (practise alone / practise with friends with better skills / etc), whether you achieve your target and what you plan to do (I only manage to shoot in 10% of the time, but I have improved from the previous session, so I will continue to practise ... or I will change my practise to ... )

Hope this helps you to recall what you need to do for the physical recreation section of the NYAA booklet. Meanwhile, enjoy the holidays and have fun exercising!
