Lance Corporal Promotion Test 2010 (2010 Intake)

1. The lance Corporal (LCP) Promotion test will be held in November 2010.

1.1. Exact date of the test will be notified at least 2 weeks pior to the test date.

1.2. There will be no retest for absentee without valid reasons.

1.3. There is a minimum requirement of 60% attendance for all training before the test date, to be able to sit for the test.

1.4. The test incorporate the following badges;

1.4.1. Campcraft

1.4.2. 3^rd Class Drill

2. The test will be set in the following weightage;

2.1. Drills (40%)

2.1.1. Foot drill 1

2.2. Outdoor (40%)

2.2.1. 8 Basic Knots

2.2.2. Lashing

2.2.3. Orienteering

2.2.4. Parts of Tentage

2.3. Misc (20%)

2.3.1. Attendance (5%)

2.3.2. Bearing (15%)

3. The test format is as follows;

3.1. Theory paper

3.2. Practical Test

*Actions that may lead to immediate failure:

1. Absent for any part of the test
2. Horse-kicking
3. Fist not clench
4. Arms not lock
5. Standing on one leg
6. Not Attending Year End Camp
