Friday Weekly Activity (17 July)

Hi all,

There will be a weekly training this Friday.

Reporting time: 2.30pm sharp
Reporting attire: Sec 1-Full U
Sec 2-PT Kit
Sec 3-Full U

Things to bring: Sec 1: writing materials, PT Kit, PICARD & all the stuff learnt during TC as CI jianwei will test them again and again.
Sec 2: Writing materials, 1 ball of twine and cutter for each cadet
Sec 3: Writing materials, PT Kit, an open mind to learn

*All Sec 1s take note,
LCP Test is postponed to few weeks later as I noticed some were not ready for LCP. ~ CI jianwei

Proficiency Test (Campcraft)

To whom it may concern:

The Proficiency test for Campcraft will be coming up right after the break.
This test is for sec 1, 2 and 3 who have yet to obtain a campcraft badge.
Things that will be tested include:

1. Parts of a Tentage
2. Parts of a Silva Compass
3. Tying of 8 Basic knots

Please prepare well for this test as there will not be any re-test.
If you are unsure of anything please clarify it with your squad CI.

Training Course

Hello all Sec 1s & 2s,

Here are the details for the Training Course on 22nd & 23rd June.

Reporting time: 0800Hrs
Ending Time: 1700 Hrs
Reporting Attire: Full-Uniform
Things to bring for Sec 1s: PT Kit and Writing Materials
Things to bring for Sec 2s: PT Kit, Water Bottle, 1 Ball of Twine each and Writing Materials

Sec 2s to fall-in with Writing Materials and Water Bottle.

If you have any doubt pls clarify with your Squad CIs.

Also, as mentioned earlier, those who are unable to attend are supposed to inform your Squad CIs by Friday, 19th June latest. So therefore, those who did not make the necessary notification are expected to turn up.

Lastly, pls have your breakfast before coming to school and lunch will not be provided.

*Sec 2s, pls take note that some of you are required to help out in the shifting of logistics from the NPCC Room to the Bomb Shelter on 24th June, Wednesday, from 1.00pm to 5.30pm. Attire will be school PE Attire.

Leadership and Mentoring Skills Course (LMSC)

Hello all Sec 3s.

Please be reminded that there is a LMSC on this Thursday and Friday, 18th and 19th June.

15th Anniversary Mural Painting Reflections

After three sessions of mural painting at Block 719, NPCC's mural is finally completed with the help of two dedicated anchor students, Tay Zhi Qian (2E1) and Sean Kwek (2E2).

Most of the Sec 2 squad and some Sec 4 seniors played a part in completing the mural in such a short time. I would like to thank all students who took part in this CIP project and despite the fear of dripping paint we all had fun during the painting process. The teamwork observed was impressive and the bonding between cadets and teachers was heart warming.

June Holidays Training Course

Hello all,

Please be reminded that there will be a 2-day training course for all Sec 1 & 2 cadets on 22nd and 23rd June. They are on Monday and Tuesday respectively.

The training course will start at 8am and will end by 5pm, on both days.

The course is important for all as the CI Committee will be covering all the syllabus needed for your promotion test, which will be in July. All cadets are strongly advised to revise on what have been taught before coming for the course.

More details will be released by CI Jian Wei and Alfrad as the course draws nearer.

Should you be unable to attend due to certain circumstances, pls inform your Squad CIs by 19 June (Friday) latest.

Lastly, please let your parents be informed about the course. Should they have any clarification, please feel free to e-mail Miss Chew.

After Action Review for Camp Unity

This notice is for all sec 3 and 4 cadets.

The After Action Review (AAR) will take place on this coming Wednesday, 1st April. THIS IS NOT A APRIL FOOL JOKE! =D

Venue: 1T1 Classroom

All sec 4s are required to attend the AAR as the attendance will be part of your attendance in camp too. For those who are unable to make it due to one reason or another, you are to give me a 2-day in advance notice. Pls note that your reason has to be approved by me before you can be excused from the AAR.

For the sec 3s, pls send some representatives to sit in for the AAR. I'm giving you all the autonomy to decide who to send as representatives. Wei Bin, you will be the IC and revert to me who are the representatives by this Monday, 15:45:00Hrs.

Sec 3 0.22 Revolver Classification and Dry Shoots (Marksmanship Badge)

All Sec 3 cadets please take note of the following :


Event A : 0.22 Revolver Dry Practice

Date/Day : 24 March 2009, Tuesday

Time : 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm

Venue : Bedok Police Divisional HQ

Attire : School Uniform

Teacher in Charge : Mr Chua Hock Kheng

Attendance is strictly compulsory. Cadets are to place this event as a priority above all things else (eg, remedials, tuition, etc). You will not be allowed to take part in the live shoot on 26 March (look below) should you miss this dry practice.

Transport will not be provided. Gather at the gate of the Bedok Police Divisional HQ by 2:30 pm.

Event B : Sec 3 0.22 Revolver Classification Shoot (Marksmanship Test)

Date/Day : 26 March 2009, Thursday

Time : 2:00 pm to 6:30 pm

Venue : Home Team Academy Range
